Abstract

The Kendu leaves (Diospyros melanoxylon) of the Dhenkanal District of Orissa are the lowest quality leaves (Quality IV) small in size and thick in shape. Therefore an experiment was conducted by applying fertilizers and manures in Kendu bushes. This treatment can enhance the quality and quantity of the leaves and increase the market price.
