People's Participation in Management of Protected Area

Abstract

This paper emphasises the need for a change in the culture and attitude of people as well as the authorities for the sustainable management of protected areas. An effort has been made to highlight the basic management problems of protected area and some solutions have been suggested to overcome these problems with people's participation.
