The seeds of Kardhai (A.pendula) were tested to study the effect of the depth of sowing on germination. The percentage germination increased as the depth of sowing increased from 5mm to 10mm delayed germination and also enhanced the completion period of germination. Kardhai seeds were found to have better germination at a depth of 10 mm, which may be recommended to nursery man.Downloads
