Abstract

Studies were conducted under glasshouse conditions with a total of 7 treatments viz., uninoculated control (UC), UC+N and two rhizobial isolates (ALS-3 and SAM-3) and one mycorrhizal culture (Glomus mosseae) and their combination to record the effect of dual inoculation with Rhizobium + AM on the nursery seedlings of Albizia lebbek. Dual inoculation of Albizia lebbek with Rhizobium + AM improved the shoot and root length, leaf area, chlorophyll content, plant biomass, nodulation status, N-uptake, P-uptake, amount of N2-fixed and root colonization over uninoculated control.
