Abstract

Present study on 3-,5- and 7-ply plywood from soft timber species like Populus ciliata having ply of equal thickness indicates that a quality WWR grade of plywood can be prepared at the minimum of 1618 ±3.54% compression loss at 110 °C hot press temperature with corrosponding improvement in the densit, of the finished plywood product by 43.84 ± 8.60%.
