Smoky Stem Blight of Chir Pine - a New Record

Macrophomina pheseolina was first time recorded causing smoky blight of Chir pine. About 90% plants were found infected with one disease. Three fungicides viz, Dithane M-45, Tagcop and Bavistin in four concentration viz., 0.2, 0.1, 0.02 and 0.01% were evaluated for control of disease. Bavistin was found effective at all concentration followed by Tagcop which was effective in three concentration. Dithane M-45 was found less effective.Downloads
