The results of experiments in the retapping by Rill method of the healed up channels in Chir pine already tapped by Cup and lip method, carried out at New Forest, Dehra Dun have revealed that the resin yield was 4.45 kg/blaze which is viabJe from economic point of view. Therefore, the resin production may be supplemented by retapping healed up channels of abandoned pine trees if such trees are available in pine growing states.Downloads
