Survey of Shrubs for Hastening the Processes of Reclamation of Ecologically Vulnerable Areas of Central Himalayas

This paper describes the results of a survey conducted on the pioneering species growing in the degraded areas of Garhwal Himalayas. The concept of eco-development can be achieved in these hills through planting of shrub species. A list of shrubs growing on wastelands is given along with their economic importance.Downloads
