Eucalyptus was introduced to Brazil about 150 years ago but planting of this species received tremendous boost in 1966. This sudden change in planting programme took place due to tax incentives and development of technology for rooted cuttings from the clones. The experiment on production of vegetative propagules' site preparation and plantation management practices' conducted by the Aracruz Florestal have been described.Downloads
