Anaiyysis of Intertree Variability in Anatomical Characters of <I>Santalum album</I>

Abstract

Study of six anatomical characters from the transverse sections of the apical stem portions of eight trees led to the observations, that, 1) considerable significant differences among character mean values and variabilities exists indicating genotypic differences; 2) a scoring method developed, in ascertaining the higher oil-content genotype.
