Coppice with reserves is a distinct silvicultural system and has proved most useful in managing the dry deciduous forests of Central Indian Region. It adequately meets the local demands of fuel, small-sized agricultural timber and some quantity of large-sized constructional wood. It preserves the locality factors and improves the general quality and extent of the growing stock.Downloads
