Economic Plants of Tripura State-edible Plants : Foodgrains, Vegetables and Fruits

Abstract

The paper attempts to assess the economic potential of edible plants with regard to foodgrains, vegetables and fruits of Tripura State. Wild as well as the cultivated plants are enumerated. Efforts have been made to place together the results of investigations conducted by various workers in different countries on edibility of wild plants.
