Abstract

The effect of Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) on rooting of cuttings were studied in two species D. latifolia and D. sissoo. Among PGRs taken (2000 ppm, 5000 ppm, 8000 ppm of IBA and Surootex-05 in powder form), IBA 5000 ppm showed significant effect on all the parameters regarding rooting behaviour. So far species are concerned D. Sissoo showed pronounced effects on aforesaid characters in comparison to D. latifolia.
