Abstract

Two insecticides, a synthetie pyrethroid fenvalerate (Sumicidin) and a Carbamate (Sevin), were tested against larvae of Atteva fabriciella, the Ailanthus webworm, in Kaluwala Block, Mohand Range. It has been found that fenvalerate and carbamate (Sevin) show promise and provide good control of the pest in 0.01% and 0.02% concentrations.
