Abstract

The present manuscript deals with the detailed taxonomic studies on monotypic genus Adiantum L. from eastern part of Garhwal region. 6 species are described with detailed microphographs of plant appendages, critical notes (whereever essential), ecological habitat and distribution. This is the first detailed microphotographic illustrated account of family Adiantaceae from Garhwal region.
