Seasonal Changes in Tannin Content of Mangrove Leaves

Abstract

Results of analysis carried out on 14 mangrove species have shown that tannin contents of leaves ranged from 2.41 to 21.42 mg g^-1 dry weight. The content was Strongly influenced by high salinity and atmospheric temperature.
