Abstract

Growth of mycorrhizal fungi e.g. Corticium bicolor. Cenoeoccum geophilum. Laccaria taccala and Pisolithus tinclorius Was studied in liquid cultures containing different concentrations of pesticides e.g. Aldrin, BHC. Furadon and Hexanema. BHC at all levels and Hexanema at 0.2% Conc. Were foud to be least toxic and tolerant by all the spicies where as the remaining pesticides were significantly higher in toxicity as compared to BHC.
